Privacy Policy

Just your email address, and only if you type it into the waitlist form yourself. We also record which form on the page you used and your browser’s user agent string, so we can tell a real signup from a bot.

Like every website, our hosting provider receives standard request data — IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp. We use it to keep the site up and to see roughly how many people visited. We don’t build a profile of you from it, and we don’t run advertising trackers on this site.

We use Resend to deliver these emails. Your address is shared with them only so they can send the confirmation and launch messages on our behalf.

To send you a confirmation right away, and then one more email on the day AfterClose is available to download. That’s the entire purpose. There is no newsletter, no drip sequence, and no “just checking in” email.

We don’t sell your email address, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. We share it only with the infrastructure providers who store our data and send our email on our behalf, and only so that they can do those jobs.

This matters enough to say plainly: AfterClose does not email, text, or market to the people in your contact list. Ever. Your clients are your relationships, not our audience.

When AfterClose launches, messages are sent by your own iPhone through your own Messages app. The app hands Messages a pre-written text and a recipient; you read it and tap send. The message does not pass through our servers.

For physical gifts, you enter your client’s mailing address in their contact card in the app. We store it so you can reuse it, and we pass it to our fulfillment partner only when you place a gift order. We don’t sell it, share it, or use it for anything other than shipping the gift you ordered.

Email support@afterclose.app and ask us to remove you. We’ll delete your email address from the waitlist and confirm. You don’t need to explain why, and there’s no retention offer waiting for you.
